Molly Burhans gave a talk titled The Catholic Church, Land and Social Justice Purposes at the Women in Conversation (WiC) event, hosted by the Berkeley University Newman Center. The WiC program, co-founded in 2011 by Kaya Oakes and Jean Molesky-Poz, offers opportunities for women to engage with theology, scripture, and spirituality from their unique perspectives, deepening prayer and discernment practices while supporting one another. In her talk, Burhans explored the intersection of land, social justice, and the Catholic Church’s role in addressing these crucial issues from a faith-based perspective.
